The Most Serious Fishing Drone - SplashDrone 3 Fishing Edition

In 2015, SplashDrone dropped the world's first bait on the west coast of New Zealand. Since then, drone fishing has gone crazy all over the planet.

Easier to use than ever before, SplashDrone 3 is waterproof, salt-resistant and has more power and stability to handle all-weather flying and all environments. Extended casting range and high payload capacity increase your catch rate. You can even record high-quality video of your bait drop with the new PL3 payload release.

Surf fishing with SplashDrone 3 is easy, fast, worry-free and most of all fun!

Precision Fishing Line Release

You don't need to kayak out through breaking waves to drop baits. SplashDrone 3 is engineered to deliver your long line up to 1 kilometer and drops your baits or lures exactly where you need them. Unlike some DIY drone fishing rigs, the release modules on the SplashDrone 3 precisely deploy your line with a simple flick of a switch on the remote controller.

The SplashDrone 3 is purpose-built to work on and over water, without compromising flight performance or imaging quality. Don’t risk your photography drone by flying over water or with an incompatible third-party bait dropper.

Release Module Options

All SwellPro Payload Release modules are fast to attach, waterproof and are precision made from CNC aluminum and stainless steel: -

PL3 is our most advanced payload release module. The integrated, waterproof, tilt-gimballed 4K camera provides live as well as recorded video footage and allows the camera angle to be adjusted during flight. With the PL3, you can accurately locate your target drop zone and record the whole casting process in high definition.

10 Baits Dropped at a Time

With its superior 1kg payload capacity, SplashDrone 3 allows you the flexibilty to carry more than 10 baited hooks or lures on each cast or long-cast a heavy live bait when hunting sharks or monster tuna.

It takes just a few moments to fly your bait beyond the breakers to the strike zone. Normally, you will get 3-6 bait casts from a single battery charge (distance dependent). Given the high propulsion system and efficient design of the SplashDrone 3, every land-based anglers now has the chance to hook a giant fish from the deep.

Fish Finder Camera

One of the keys to successful drone fishing is knowing where the fish are and understanding the underwater terrain. With the ability to view the water from above and below, the SplashDrone 3 gives you the information you need.

The waterproof cameras of the Payload Release Modules have a wide field of view and low-light sensitivity. Fly above the strike zone to view the movement of schools of fish or land on the water to take a closer look underwater at fish and terrain. Decide where the bait needs to be and flick the switch to smoothly release your line – right on target!

Live Fish Hunting

The bright LCD screen built-in to the remote controller provides a live video feed from the camera of the SplashDrone 3. With low latency and a transmission range of up to 1km, you can always see what the drone sees. The live vision also includes important flight data such as distance, height, speed and battery voltage. Everything is at your fingertips, live vision and data together with a single switch to release your bait on command.

100% Waterproof

Flying a drone over water can be risky as most drones are not waterproof or built for the marine environment. With the SplashDrone 3, you can relax and enjoy your fishing.

Every part of SplashDrone 3 Fishing Edition is 100% waterproof and sea-water friendly.

Can't find a good place to launch the drone? Just take-off from the surface of the water.

Can't tell where the fish are from the above? Just land directly on the water and get a submarine-view of the underwater world.

Harnessing a rugged 3mm ABS fuselage and waterproof, corrosion-resistant materials, SplashDrone 3 is built to fish.

Gone Against the Wind

Gusty wind and torrential rain can be a real challenge for some drones near the coast. With the waterproof SplashDrone 3, its robust 450mm ABS shell, high torque 620KV motors, and full carbon fiber propellers provide the power and durability to fly in these harsh environments. The new propulsion combo and flight controller provide tremendous horsepower and control even in winds up to 18 mph (Beaufort Force 4). Reprogrammed flight parameters provide phenomenal self-righting and altitude holding abilities, even when the drone is burdened with additional weight.

Quick Set Up

The release mechanism, propellers and landing gears all connect to the drone easily and quickly to minimize setup time. Attach your fishing line just takes a second.

Auto Hover

Dual GPS and an array of sensors enable SplashDrone 3 to automatically and precisely hover at its current position and altitude.

Auto Return

Flick the return-home switch and the SplashDrone 3 will automatically return and land gently at the take-off point - while you concentrate on fishing.
