DJI Phantom 2 - With Zenmuse H3-3D Gimbal

The Phantom 2 + Zenmuse H3-3D Package:

The DJI Phantom 2 QuadCopter is an evolution from its successful predecessor and provides several new features and an increase in technical capabilities.

The Phantom 2, in conjunction with the Zenmuse H3-3D 3-axis gimbal, is a light, durable Multi-Rotor that has taken the industry by storm, excelling in a range of applications. The preinstalled motors and self-tightening propellers allude to the simplicity of the product and highlight the portability and ease of use that DJI envisaged. The plug-and-play simplicity that DJI has developed is arguably the most attractive feature of the Phantom 2, and it provides a safe, reliable means for hobbyists and professionals alike to capture smooth and stabile footage, making cinematography and videography easier than ever before.  

DJI has provided the Phantom 2 with a high capacity, high performance 5200 mAh Lithium Polymer battery, which offers unrivalled flight times of 25 minutes. The battery has an inbuilt system that informs the user of its remaining capacity and notifies of the necessary maintenance reminders. The system also provides over charge/discharge protection.

DJI have supplied their DT7 preconfigured transmitter that requires zero adjustment and just four AA batteries. The simple, spring centred control sticks allow the Phantom to default into is current position and altitude. The integrated GPS auto-pilot system offers position hold, altitude lock and stable hovering, allowing the pilots to focus on capturing their desired shots. If the Phantom loses signal, or the transmitter loses power, the flight controller will initiate its €˜fail safe€™ protection mode and automatically return and land at the location it obtained GPS lock. For this reason, we cannot stress enough the importance of ensuring the Phantom receives full GPS lock before taking off.

The H3-3D Zenmuse Gimbal:

The H3-3D gimbal is an impressive product. DJI have ensured that the Zenmuse heritage of high quality products is transferred into the H3-3D. The H3-3D uses the same advanced algorithm, high precision sensors and brushless motor design used in their most premium gimbals.  The 3-axis GoPro stabilisation, plug-and-play simplicity and smooth high precision tilt control is a winning recipe for capturing the shots you desire.
