The TBS Discovery Pro QuadCopter is a durable and crash resistant Multi-Rotor optimized for dynamic First Person View (FPV) flight. By implementing the wiring into the frame, the aircraft outperforms similar quads in terms of FPV range, reliability and video link quality. The TBS Discovery Pro gimbal frame is the perfect tool for amateur and professional aerial videographers. Sporting a fully stabilised camera gimbal it is the most powerful, compact, robust and versatile €œtake anywhere€ QuadCopter available to date. The Discovery Pro has a built in switch that allows the pilot to switch between the live camera and the gimbal mounted high definition recording camera. This gives the pilot the ability to position the aircraft and operate the recording camera independently, allowing more flexibility to capture the perfect shot.

This package is supplied with the Turnigy Accucel battery charger and a Zippy 4000mAh 4S LiPo battery.

The immensely reputable Futaba T6J transmitter is included for ultimate controllability. The T6J is a highly programmable transmitter offering the best in radio transmission and reliability. The Futaba T6J Transmitter/Receiver has been programmed for use with the NAZA flight controller and DISCOVERY Multi-Rotor. All you need to do is simply turn it on and enjoy!

The lift is provided by 1000KV ProFlight-UK motors and ESCs which have been developed in-house specifically for multi-rotor use. We created the new multi-rotor optimised ProFlight-UK ESCs a speed controller which combines the latest "Simon-K" firmware with a refresh rate of over 400Hz to give you the ultimate "locked-in" sensation. While the firmware allows for super-fast, responsive and smooth throttle response, the rapid refresh rate allows the aircraft's motors to adjust quickly to any movements detected by the flight-controller.

The Discovery Pro is supplied with 10x4.5 carbon fibre propellers to further improve the flying characteristics and to ensure the video quality is not compromised by vibration.  

This package also includes the DJI Innovations NAZA-M GPS system, which features several €œmust have€ features such as RTL (return to launch), GPS Hold, Attitude mode, Fail-Safe mode and Manual mode. This makes the Discovery versatile and highly reliable.

This TBS Discovery Pro is supplied 100% pre-assembled using only the best quality components to give the ultimate Multi-Rotor experience. The camera platform situated at the front of the TBS Discovery Pro contains an FPV camera. The gimbal is perfectly sized to fit a recording camera, such as a GoPro or similar camera. This platform perfectly places the FPV and recording cameras for "no prop in view" flight, giving the pilot the best possible flying experience and HD quality footage recorded from a GoPro or similar camera.

All accessories required for FPV flight are available as option extras (see below). These include the FatShark FPV camera and video transmitter and the Black Pearl 7€ Monitor. The included TBS Core is already installed which enables onscreen flight information, such as battery consumption. This system is capable of some serious range, in some cases up to 10km with suitable antennas.
